Tiera’s accessories are simply everything!
Tiera is getting all prepped and ready for her big day!
“I knew David was the one when we were in college and he made all the emotions come out of me I didn’t know existed,” said the bride of her groom. “I didn’t know love until I met him, I didn’t know patience until I met him, and lastly, I didn’t know crazy until I met him! He brought out the best in me and I knew that he had my heart 100% when I was approaching college graduation. We began discussing our future together more and more each day.”
How gorgeous are the bride and her girls in their traditional atiire?! We say yes, yes, yes!

Tiera had an outpouring of prayer on her wedding day especially during the opening prayer during the traditional African ceremony.
“I believe our love was created by God and that we were destined to be together,” said the groom. “She is my everything and I know in my heart that I cannot live without her. The decision was made the day I laid my eyes on her.”
Special moments on a big day always take our breath away.
On the day David proposed, Tiera felt like she was in a fairytale and on her wedding day, her joy was just the same. “Knowing that I was marrying my best friend was a feeling that I’ve been waiting for!”
“I decided to wear my hair down only because I was 8 months pregnant and I wanted something to slim my face!,” shares Tiera.
Nothing wrong with getting a little help with your bow tie before the big day begins!

On her big day, Tiera couldn’t help feel like the happiest girl in the world. “It felt like a dream come true,” she said. “It was more than what I dreamed.”
“I was going for a James bond theme,” says the groom of his tux. “To make it a little different, we decided to go with the double breasted tuxes instead of single button tux. Double breasted suits are in around this time of year and it’s kind of a unique and different look for weddings.”
“My world,” sayd the groom of his beautiful bride. “She is my everything and I will literally die for her. I am so in love with Tiera. She has the ability to affect every single one of my emotions. She drives me, gives me courage, increases my determination, my will, and effort in all aspects of life. She literally brings joy to my heart every morning I wake up and see her next to me.”
“It felt amazing,” shared David on his feeling as a groom. “I felt so blessed to actually be at that moment of my life. It was more than what I could imagine.”

“My mother walked me down the aisle because she is a single mother and she raised me all alone,” shared Tierra of the special walk she shared with her mom on her big day.
David proposed to Tiera in London! It’s a surprise she wasn’t expecting but it turned out to be one of the best night’s of her life.
“I said yes because David is everything I ever wanted in a man,” said Tierra of the one who stole her heart. “David is the most positive being that I’ve ever met. He doesn’t let anything stop him from what he wants to do in life. His positive spirit is one of a kind and I love him for that. David is full of energy and laughter; I seriously don’t know what I would do without him in my life. David completes me through the good times and the bad, and for that, I adore him. David is always encouraging me to do whatever I have my mind set on. I love that he is in fact God fearing, hard-working, loving, caring and would do anything to make sure that I am happy. He is truly the best husband to me and the best father to our new addition! I am forever grateful to spend the rest of my life with him!”
“I originally had a mermaid dress picked out and purchased for my big day,” Tierra shared. “A week after making this purchase, I found out I was pregnant. With the style of the dress and me being 8 months pregnant on my wedding day, unfortunately the dress would not work. I scheduled another appointment with hopes of finding something that would be flattering on an 8-month pregnant bride and sure enough I was able to find the perfect dress. The dress was more of a Cinderella gown that complemented my baby bump! My dress was off white with tons of sparkles on it!”
Come on now ladies, y’all better slay!
“If there is one thing I love about David I would have to say his humor,” shares Tiera. “I love that we can sit and laugh about almost anything. Laughter is good for the soul and with David, I get to experience that every waking day!”
Tiera’s 14 (yes 14!) bridesmaids were dressed to absolute perfection as they stood by her side on the big day!
“Her selflessness,” says David of the thing he loves most about Tiera. “She is so patient and understanding and accepts me for all my flaws.”
Is it just us or is this entire wedding party perfect?! YES!
“God tested us for a couple of years, especially me. I was not who I once was towards Tiera,” recalls the groom. “I was the guy of her dreams, but I became her worst nightmare. I didn’t think we would be together. I loved her so much, but didn’t want to see her hurt anymore. So I decided to do something I never done before and that’s be a coward. That was the biggest mistake of my life, simply because I missed 2.5 years of Tiera’s unmatchable love. During that time, I opened my heart up and realized again that she is my everything and only love. There were many nights I prayed to God alone in my room and asked that if we were meant to be together, then help me forgive myself for hurting her and give me the strength and courage to get her back. God answered my prayers. I had a dream one night. I barely remember anything from it, but I remember Tiera being with me again and she was happy. I remember waking up and feeling joy. In my heart, I knew our love was an everlasting love. I realized I never lost Tiera, I just lost myself and with prayer, God helped me find who I once was.”
Tiera and David chose multiple flavors for their gorgeous 5 layer cake–red velvet with cream cheese icing, lemon cake with cream cheese icing, and vanilla cake with butter cream icing–yum!
Tiera didn’t know when she would find love but she was sure it would come to her eventually. “I didn’t think I would find true love the way that I did. I knew God had someone in store for me but I had no idea that the guy I met my first week of college would be my lifelong partner,” she said.
From the moment they met, Tiera and David knew their hearts belonged to each other. They started off as friends on their college campus and spent months in a courtship before making things official.
During their reception, Tiera and David shared their first dance to “If This World Were Mine” by Luther Vandross.
Tiera shared a dance with her mom on her big day and it was so dope!
David and his mom set the dance floor on fire!
David and his groomsmen did a dance for Tiera which is something she wasn’t expecting at all! The moment completely surprised her and it happens to be one of her big day favorite memories.
David held nothing back on the dance floor for his bride.
Tiera wanted her big day to be elegant but fun! Seeing her groom and his friends pull off an epic performance for her proved that her wedding was just that!
