Bridal Bliss: You'll Fall Head Over Heels For Billy And Danielle's Sweet Atlanta Wedding Day

“My wedding dress was designed by Randy Fenoli and purchased at Kleinfeld’s in NYC,” said the bride. “I originally thought my uncle was going to be making my dress, so the shopping trip was just to look and see what type of dress I was looking for. I took my cousin Stacey with me and ended up falling in LOVE with the dress I picked. I knew it was the one when I realized I couldn’t stop picturing myself in the dress after I left the store. The next week, I went back to purchase it and the rest is history.”

For Danielle’s wedding day, she was surrounded by love, joy, and happiness. “I had 7 attendants on my wedding day. My two Cousins, Ashley Mayes and Stacey Mayes, were both my Maids of Honor. My bridesmaids consisted of my Friends from college Nyemale Macedo, Jamila Gerald, and Lindsey Williams. Billy’s Sister, Jennifer Lucas also stood with me and to round it out was my old roommate, Stephanie Cho.”

For Billy’s big day look, he rocked a pair of Black Panther cufflinks and all we can say is, #WakandaForever.

“I had all these preconceived notions about what it was going to feel like to be the bride and let me just tell you I was completely wrong! It felt so much better than I could have ever imagined,” said Danielle. “Yes, at times it was extremely stressful (there were tears) but when the day finally arrived, I saw Billy and all of our ideas had come together and it my breath away.”

As she prepared to marry the love of her life, Danielle had a helping hand from her mom before the festivities began.

From the sight of it, Billy was one dapper groom!

Danielle’s cousins, Stacey and Ashley were the perfect Maids of Honor on her big day, surrounding her with nothing but good vibes.

“Let me start by saying I never chose to make Dani my wife,” the groom began. “She chose to make me her husband. I knew I wanted to marry Dani a couple weeks into us dating. In fact, when the moment that I knew hit me, it was as if the universe told me she was the one.”

“I would describe him as the most genuine, intelligent, hardworking man that compliments my every step,” said the bride of her groom. “He is a man that knows what he wants and goes after it without any apologies. He is someone that encourages me and is there for me no matter what and he’s the truest sense of the word, partner.”

To keep with wedding day tradition, the bride’s something borrowed was her veil, which belonged to her mother.

“I had a planner and her name is Alfreda Mayes. She’s my aunt! She doesn’t have a website and doesn’t do this professionally but has planned events in the past. I wanted someone who knew what they were doing and had insights into the wonderful world of weddings. She was perfect.”

Billy had seven groomsmen: His best Man Zach Moore and then the groomsman consisted of old roommates and softball buddies, Shar Zarea, Charles Barbour, Keith Jones, San McMullen, Brad Renner and Brandon Smith.

“My father walked me down the aisle because there was no one else I would have wanted to give me away, he is my rock!”

“I don’t think I could’ve been happier than I was in that moment,” said the groom of being with his bride at the altar on their wedding day. “It was a feeling that can only be compared to the Nintendo 64 Kid. Looking back on that time at the altar, it was far too short, and I could’ve stood there forever.”

“I felt like nothing else mattered and he was the right person for me, now and always,” said Danielle of standing with Billy at the altar on their wedding day.

“I said yes because I knew he was the one for me and that I wanted to grow old with this person, have children with this person and build a future,” said the bride.

“I chose the flowers below because these are the accent colors I dreamed of to compliment both the Tux as well as the navy blue bridesmaid dresses,” I told the florist my vision and they ran with it! Bridesmaid Bouquets – pale blush peony, raspberry purple phalenopsis orchid blooms, gloriosa lilies, raspberry peony, gray textural leaves of herbal dusty miller.”

“The cake was a citrus pound cake, with Italian Vanilla buttercream and fresh strawberries throughout. We chose that cake because we were having a summer wedding and strawberries are one of Billy’s favorite fruits.”

“There are those moments in everyone’s life where nature or some random event seems to pull all the world’s beauty into that moment, and you gain, at least in that fleeting instance, some understanding of how everything fits,” said Billy of Danielle. “She is that moment for me in every way and every day.”

It looks the father of the bride had the time of his life on his daughter’s big day.

I knew he was the one when he decided to move to New York to make our relationship work after being long-distance for a year. He never really cared for NYC, but knew I wasn’t ready to come back to Atlanta quite yet,” said the bride of when she knew her groom was the one, before adding, “I love his determination, loyalty, and supportive nature. He always has a can-do attitude which has helped when things haven’t always been smooth as silk.”
