“I realized Andrew was ‘The One’ after our first date,” says the lovely bride. “He was such a gentleman and I loved his conversation.”
Courtney and her bridesmaids took a bachelorette trip to the Bahamas before the wedding. Sounds amazing and we so wish we’d been there.
Flawless bride Courtney got a kiss on the cheek from her mom before her “I dos.”
The bride’s bouquet consisted of white hydrangea, white mini spray roses, purple lisianthus, plum ranunculus, white flower, and seeded eucalyptus.
Courtney slayed in these ivory peep-toed Badgley Mischkas with crystal accents. What a wonderul choice.
On the mornng of her wedding day, Courtney’s thoughtful bridesmaids presented her with a bible as their group gift to her. Sweet and essential!
Courtney said she wanted to look regal on her big day, and we’re here to tell you: mission accomplished!
Andrew proposed to Courtney on Christmas Eve at her family holiday party. Even though it was an ugly Christmas sweater-themed party, it was actually a beautiful start to lifelong wedded bliss. Aww!
The flower girls were the bride’s nieces and cousin. They looked so adorable on the big day.
Courtney let her bridemaids select their dress styles and the ladies chose well. That color is absolutely everything!
“Having failed relationships in the past, I felt as though true love was not in the cards for me,” said Andrew. “Luckily, an angel came into my life and made me a believer in true love.”
“I absolutely loved being a bride,” said Courtney. “It was everything I dreamed it would be and more. I enjoyed being pampered and treated like royalty. From the massage, to the pedicure, right down to the hair and makeup; I would do it all over again.”
Courtney said one of her favorite wedding memories was when her father eased her nerves before he walked her down the aisle.
Andrew cried as his bride walked down the aisle, and Courtney tells us that it truly melted her heart.
Andrew admits he cried as Courtney walked to him at the altar because he was blown away by how beautiful she was in that moment. We love a groom who’s not afraid to give into the powerful emotions of a wedding day.
Courtney and Andrew shared one tender moment after another at the altar. Too sweet!
“I felt extremely proud being a groom,” said Andrew. “It was far more than I ever dreamed. To be able to have both of our families together in a celebration of love will stay with me forever.”
“I felt honored, adored and confident in knowing that I made the right decision to marry him,” said the beaming bride.
The couple reconnected years after first meeting. They exchanged countless message which led to a geniune friendship and now a beautiful love story!
“Our wedding cake was a round 4 tiered vanilla flavored pound cake with vanilla butter cream icing. It consisted of scrolls and beautiful arrangements. I LOVE pound cake and know that it is a true southern favorite,” said Courtney.
The couple’s reception tables had three different centerpieces that were all part of the beautiful elegance of Courtney and Andrew’s big day.
The couple’s first dance was to “Best of Me” by Anthony Hamilton.

During the reception, Courtney’s Delta Sigma Theta sorority sisters serenaded her with “The Sweetheart Song” to commemorate the magic of her big day.
Andrew and his groomsmen look like they had a ball. Go fellas!
“I describe Courtney as thoughtful, kind, beautiful and caring,” said the lucky groom.
It looks like some Courtney’s friends couldn’t wait to catch the bouquet!
“Andrew is intelligent, witty, laid back and handsome,” said Courtney.
Courtney is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
There was nothing but a good time on the dance floor for the couple and all their guests!
The reception included a sweet bar with desserts for guests to enjoy!

“I said “yes” because Andrew was everything I wanted in a husband,” said Courtney. “One of the many reasons is that his actions speak louder than his words and that is very important to me”
The wedding guests gathered outside as the reception ended to send the couple off with celebratory sparklers! Lovely!
“I love his genuine spirit and calm persona,” said Courtney of Andrew.
“I chose to make Courtney my wife because I could see my future in her eyes. She has always been my number one fan and makes me better every day,” said Andrew.
“I realized Courtney was “The One” after we first kissed,” the groom said. “I could feel our souls connecting.”
Courtney and Andrew attended the same middle and high school. It wasn’t until yeats laters with the help of social media that they actually connected and the rest is history!
“I thought Andrew and I would only be friends when we first connected but God had other plans for us and showed us how true love is supposed to be.”
