Wendy Williams has seemingly been living her best life since filing for divorce from her estranged husband Kevin Hunter. She’s been dating, doing more public appearances and looking happier overall. But that doesn’t mean the split hasn’t taken its toll on the TV host.
TMZ caught up with Williams as she was leaving the famous Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles in Los Angeles. She just happened to be riding shotgun with a much younger mystery man, who was mistakenly identified by a videographer as Hunter. “He’s a friend…please don’t ask about Kevin. We have an 18-year-old son and I’m sensitive to that, but that is not Kevin.”
The host goes on to say that her son, Kevin Jr. is doing fine and that she’s got no ill will towards his father. “Young Kevin and I are fine,” Williams says in the video. “Big [Kevin], Godspeed. Sometimes in life stuff happens and it’s OK. I still got a very full life that I really adore. Please don’t make me cry.”
After tearing up, Williams makes an emotional confession. “I didn’t plan on this but it is what it is … I have a very full life,” she says tearfully. “Thank you for watching. I would ask you to respect our privacy, but please, I don’t respect people’s privacy, that’s why I do [the segment] ‘Hot Topics’ … all three of us are doing fine.”
Overall, Wendy seems to be enjoying the single life. Today, she posted a photo cuddled up with her mystery man by the lake, revealing that she’s old enough to be his mother. We see you sis!
Live your best life Wendy!
