Zoë Kravitz, daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, shocked everyone after news broke that she married actor Karl Glusman in a secret ceremony.
According to Us Weekly, 30-year-old Kravitz and her 31-year-old actor bae are “legally married,” but will still move forward with a traditional wedding ceremony this June in France. In a 2018 interview with Rolling Stone, Kravitz casually announced her engagement, saying, “He nailed it. And I love that it wasn’t this elaborate plan in Paris. It was at home, in sweatpants.”

Karl Is Originally From The Bronx
The actor was born in the Bronx, but his parents moved him out West when he was just six months old. “I was born in the Bronx,” he told The Oregonian in 2015, “but my parents hated living in the Bronx so they moved to Oregon when I was 6 months old. After my parents split up my mother moved to Lake Oswego and I went to Lake Oswego High School. And then finally I went to Portland State University for a year and a half before dropping out and moving to New York. I took my first acting classes in Portland at Portland State University and the Portland Actors Conservatory.”

How They Met
Zoe Kravitz and Karl Glusman met in 2016 at a bar while hanging out with mutual friends. According to Rolling Stone, Karl had a crush on Zoe and was “initially too nervous” to talk to her. She played it coy at first, waiting outside the bar pretending to be on her phone, before inviting him back to her apartment for an afterparty where they engaged in a make out session. “It was cute!” she said, confirming they had moved in soon after meeting. “I can be my weirdest self around him,” Zoe told the magazine. “It’s so relaxing to be around someone where you can be a hundred percent how you feel.”
