Bio: Sandra D. Kennedy has been serving the people of Arizona
for decades. She was first elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 1986, where she served for six years before successfully running for a seat in the state senate. Kennedy served for three terms in the Arizona State Senate, from 1992 to 1998, before taking a decade-long break from politics. In 2009, Kennedy won a seat on the Arizona Corporation Commission, where she served until 2013 when she lost her re-election bid. A graduate of
Arizona State University and an accountant by trade, Kennedy wants to return to the ACC because she wants to fight corruption while advocating for affordable renewable energy and water conservation for Arizonans.
