Though the two had never met, Fiddy has never hidden his disdain for Oprah – he even went as far as telling the ladies of The View he had named his dog after her.
Now that they’re on good terms, the media mogul will sit down for her first interview with the rap star on Sunday night’s episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter.
The OWN creator describes the interview as “surprising.” Fans will see their intimate conversation in two parts.
Here are five things Oprah reveals that she learned about “Fiddy”:
1. He meditates regularly.
2. He received his mantra from Deepak Chopra, whose book he’s currently reading.
3. He was not allowed to use curse words in his grandmother’s house and he still follows that rule.
4. A recent conversation with philanthropist Ray Chambers was life changing for him.
And Oprah’s favorite….
5. He believes either pray or worry… no need for both.
It seems like no stone was left unturned during this interview. “Great conversation about rap culture, fatherhood, love and life,” said Oprah. “He describes himself as two people – Curtis and 50 Cent – I was fascinated to hear his description of them both. Really glad I did it. Really like him.”
Tune into Oprah’s Next Chapter on Sunday 9/8c where she’ll also interview Paris Jackson about her late father, Michael Jackson.
