Try Acessories
Wearing hair accessories is an easy way to instantly upgrade your hairstyle. Experiment with headbands and decorative hairpins first, and then try colorful scarves.

Add Demension
“When adding color, go with the darker color on the bottom and lighter on the top,” says Ian Michael Black, Aveda Global Artistic Director for Hair Color. “It adds dimension.”

“Don’t be afraid to use a men’s pomade and a baby brush to smooth down your edges,” says Shorter. “It really works!”
