After settling in on a premiere date for the Lifetime biopic on Aaliyah, the network has sprung a little teaser on fans. Though there’s been a lot of brouhaha about how lead Alexandra Shipp will portray Aaliyah, the trailer leaves us curious. Aaliyah: The Princess of R&B premieres November 15.
Derrick Rose is giving back to his community. The Chicago Bulls starter donated $1 million to a local after-school program called After School Matters. “To have a strong community of people who believe in your potential can make all the difference in the world,” said Rose, a Chi-town native. There’s more information trickling out about the terms of the prenup between Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa. Rose, who filed for divorce earlier this week citing irreconcilable differences, will walk away with over a million dollars. She’s asking to full legal and physical custody of their son, which was not covered in the prenup. [TMZ]
In other celeb relationships news: Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have broken up. After three years of dating, the couple has called it quits and it may be due to their busy work lives. And although their intimate relationship has ended, the two are still friends. While visiting a radio show, Derulo confirmed the breakup but made it clear that “everything is cool…it’s not a bad situatuion. It’s not one of those kinds of things.” [Sister2Sister]
