Former In The House actress Maia Campbell is working to rebuild her troubled past. In a recent tweet, Campbell excitedly confirmed her appearance on Iyanla Vanzant’s Iyanla: Fix My Fallen Star airing on the OWN Network November 17. “Have you marked your calendar for 11/17?” Campbell tweeted.
Campbell, the daughter of late novelist Bebe Moore Campbell, had rumors of drug addiction, mental illness and prostitution swirling the internet after a video showing the actress on an unusual rant went viral. The 90s sitcom starlet was nearly unrecognizable to fans.
The actress is currently sober and admits that she “was out there on the other stretch of the road” but has gotten her life back on track. Now she is more motivated than ever by her daughter, the recent loss of her dad and carrying on her mom’s legacy with a book she has written titled Sagittarius.
Will you be tuning into OWN on November 17?
