Fifteen-year-old Cameron Sterling, son of Alton Sterling– man who was shot and killed by police officers outside a convenience store in Baton Rouge, Louisiana advises protestors to “protest the right way,” ABC News reports.
“I truly feel that my father was a good man and he will always be a good man,” said Sterling.
The Baton Rouge police officers involved in Alton Sterling’s death, Blane Salamoni and Howie Lake, are on paid administrative leave. The incident was caught on video and an investigation of the shooting is being led by the U.S. Department of Justice.
Outside of the convenience store, where his father’s death took place, Cameron tells protesters, “Protest in peace, not guns.”
He closed with saying, “We want justice. We want an indictment.”
