Tonight, former Glee star Amber Riley danced her way to victory on Dancing with the Stars.
After 11 weeks of grueling rehearsals and a chronic knee injury, Riley pushed through to the finish line. Riley and her dance partner, Derek Hough, earned a perfect score for their final three dances—including a very tricky fusion routine featuring the samba and quickstep.
With a bright smile and confetti floating through the air, Riley said, “I danced in this competition because I didn’t know if I could do it… I want women of all sizes out there to know you can do whatever you put your mind to.”
Corbin Bleu and Jack Osbourne earned second and third place respectively.
A few weeks ago, Riley told ESSENCE.com that if she won she’d do the following three things: Go to Hawaii, have a special YouStream for her fans and “chow down” because it’s the week of Thanksgiving.
Congratulations to Amber Riley on her win!
