In a blog post uploaded yesterday afternoon, the Internet hackers known as Anonymous have threatened to unhood up to 1,000 Ku Klux Klan members.
Tensions between the hacker collective and the infamous hate group have been bitter ever since the KKK threatened to unleash violence last year on the Ferguson protestors. Last November, Anonymous, calling the group “terrorists,” exposed the social media accounts of many of the members, and now, they are threatening to do it again.

“You are more than a hate group,” Anonymous wrote in its blog post. “You operate much more like terrorists and you should be recognized as such. You are terrorists that hide your identities beneath sheets and infiltrate society on every level. The privacy of the Ku Klux Klan no longer exists in cyberspace. You’ve had blood on your hands for nearly 200 years. You continue to inflict civil rights violations, commit violent crimes and solicit others to commit violent criminal acts.”
The hackers invite people to show their support by using the hashtags #OpKKK and #HoodsOff.
