President-elect Barack Obama is showing music legend Aretha Franklin some R-E-S-P-E-C-T and has invited the singer to perform at the inaugural ceremony where he will be sworn into office, according to the Associated Press. Franklin will be joined at the Capitol by “The Purpose Driven Life” author and minister Rick Warren and other musicians for the historic event.
