Arise Presents the African Collective Part III
For the third year in a row, Arise magazine presented a showcase of
African fashion at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York. The runway
show is one of the highlights of the week because of it's focus on
Black fashion and models. This year was no exception. Dwight Eubanks of
the "Real Housewives of Atlanta", model/journalist Veronica Webb,
model/actress Liya Kebede, and chef Marcus Samuelsson all turned for
the African Collective. This year's show presented the creations of
Deola Sagoe, Loin Cloth and Ashes and Black Coffee. Check out the
modern fashions from the motherland.
