Arizona mom Shanesha Taylor, 35, regained custody of her two children Thursday after having them taken away by the state for leaving them in a hot car during a job interview, according to Reuters.
Her attorney Benjamin Taylor told Reuters that Taylor is allowed to take her two sons, who were 6 months old and 2 years old at the time of the incident, home from state care immediately and without restrictions under a ruling by a juvenile court judge.
Taylor was charged with felony child abuse earlier this year after police found her boys locked in a vehicle while she was interviewing for a job with an insurance company. In July, Maricopa County prosecutors agreed to drop Taylor’s charges on the condition that she completed parenting and substance abuse classes and set up trust funds for her children with the almost $115,000 in donations she received from supporters after her arrest.
