Azealia Banks is making some explosive claims against actor Russell Crowe.
The 25-year-old rapper is at the center of controversy this morning after she accused Crowe of physically assaulting her at a Beverly Hills party over the weekend. In a Sunday night Facebook post that has since been deleted, Banks claimed Crowe called her the N-word and choked her, among other things.
“To recap my night, I went a part[y] at Russel crowes suite, at which he called me a n*****, choked me, threw me out and spat at me,” Banks wrote in the Facebook post. “Last night was one of the hardest nights of sleep I’ve had in a long time. The men in the room allowed it to happen. I feel terrible today.”
Eyewitnesses who were present during the confrontation gave a different version of what happened at the party.
According to TMZ, witnesses said Banks arrived alongside hip-hop veteran and actor RZA, whom Crowe invited to the private gathering of about 10 people to listen to music and have dinner.

Attendees claim things went left when Banks began openly criticizing Crowe’s music selections, before later calling him and another guest “boring white men.” When another female guest attempted to come to Crowe’s defense, witnesses say Banks went on a tirade, telling Crowe and the woman:
“You would love it if I broke my glass, stabbed you guys in the throat, and blood would squirt everywhere like some real Tarantino s–t.” The guests claim Banks then hurled racial slurs at the pair during the outburst, before picking up a glass and cocking it back, at which point they say Crowe grabbed her in a “bearhug” and carried her out of the party suite.
He later called hotel security to have her removed from the grounds.
Banks’ most recent Facebook post since the incident is a message that reads, “I have the receipts. Stay Tuned.”
Neither Crowe nor RZA have publicly spoken out about the incident as of yet.
