City Council member Helen L. Holton has been indicted on misdemeanor charges of bribery and perjury for her alleged involvement in tax breaks for luxury buildings, according to the Washington Post. She was also charged with misusing her office. The ally of Baltimore Mayor Sheila Dixon plans to stay in her position as the case continues.
