Beyoncé took a quick break from her world tour for Gucci’s “Chime for Change: The Sound of Change Live Concert” to raise funds for female empowerment, education, health and justice in London’s Twickenham Stadium. The singer joined forces with Mary J. Blige and Jennifer Lopez, who performed their own sets for the charity concert.
The stadium was in a frenzy when Queen Bey amped things up with her girl power anthems “Run the World (Girls)” and “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It).” Bey even brought hubby Jay-Z onstage for a little PDA and a performance of “Crazy in Love.”
MJB and JLO suprised the audience by performing their rendition of the Beatles’ “Come Together,” while activists and campaigners Zoe Saldana and Jada Pinkett-Smith were among the night’s presenters.
The concert was broadcast live in 150 countries and airs tonight in the U.S. on NBC at 9 p.m. ET.
