Beyoncé will receive the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV VMAs on August 24.
The “Drunk in Love” singer will also take the stage for her fourth performance at the VMAs – the last time was for her surprise pregnancy reveal in 2011.
Beyoncé leads the pack with 8 nominations this year, including “Video of the Year,” “Best Female” and “Best Choreography.” She joins the likes of Michael Jackson, Madonna and Justin Timberlake in taking home the coveted Vanguard award.
