Black Therapist Shot By Miami Police While Trying To Help Autistic Patient
ABC News reports that the 47-year-old is seeking an undisclosed amount of damages from Aledda and other officers in the North Miami police department.
On July 18, Kinsey was shot while laying on his back with his patient, Arnaldo Rios, sitting at his feet.
An onlooker called 911 saying a suicidal man was walking down the street with a gun. The man was in fact Rios, who was actually carrying his toy truck rather than a weapon.
