Police have arrested a suspect in connection with horrendous road rage incident that left 3-year-old Acen King dead from a gunshot would in Arizona last week.
CBS affiliate THV11 reports U.S. Marshals have apprehended Gary Holmes for the murder of the toddler, who was shot as he sat in the back seat of his grandmother’s car on the way home from a shopping trip.
According to police reports, Holmes became angry when the woman honked back at him after he honked at her for not pulling off from an intersection fast enough, at which point he got out of his car and approached hers, opening fire.

The young child was immediately rushed to the hospital after being struck by the bullets and died shortly after. His grandmother, Kim King-Macon, and infant sibling who was also riding in the car were unharmed.
Police officials reportedly worked with Holmes family to convince him to turn himself after initially fleeing from the scene of the shooting. His arraignment is scheduled for today.
