Brandy’s been far from the spotlight lately, but she’s hardly been on hiatus. The singer/actress has been busy working on TV roles (she’s set to make her debut on BET’s “The Game”) and working on Tyler Perry’s “Marriage Counselor. She’s also set to work on a new album.

“[Tyler Perry] is a genius and someone I’ve always wanted to work with,” she told TheYBF.
With all these projects in the pipeline, the star says she is feeling so happy and inspired to also start working on a new album.

“I’m back in the studio working on a new album!” she said. “Talk about being blessed! I’m surrounded by inspired writers and producers who believe in me as an artist and who want to bless the world with timeless music. Music gives my life a purpose and I’m thankful it lives in me.”
While there’s no word yet on when Brandy will drop her new record, we can’t wait to see what the songstress has in store!
