Calvin Klein is adding to its fragrance category this February with the launch of an entirely new type of smell: gender-free. The gender neutral scent, CK2, serves as a follow up to CK One, which debuted in the early 90’s and is aimed to celebrate the diversity of connections between two people.
According to the release, the scent is filled with notes of wasabi, floral tones, wet cobblestones and ‘magnetic woods blends’ and is ideal for anyone who “celebrates the idea that not every relationship needs labels.”
How To Make Your Fragrance Last
The fragrance will be available in most stores next year as an Eau de Toilette spray, body lotion, shower gel and deodorant, but you can purchase the new scent at World Duty Free airport stores now.
“CK2 is a new gender-free fragrance that celebrates the endless possibilities of modern connections between two people,” says Camillo Pane, Executive Vice President of category development for Coty Inc to WWD. “We are targeting a new generation that values authenticity and fluidity in their everyday lives, and CK2 encapsulates this in every facet of the brand, whether via the scent, packaging, or campaign creative.”
The fragrance will also be accommodated ad campaigns featuring young biracial and same-sex couples. Check it out below!
