Sterling K. Brown is in talks for Disney’s Frozen sequel. The This Is Us star will lend his voice alongside Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and Josh Gad who will reprise their roles as main characters, Elsa, Anna, and Olaf, respectively. Frozen 2 is expected to premiere on Nov. 27, 2019. (Variety)
Angela Rye has defended Charlamagne Tha God amid controversy over his rape allegations. Reports claim the radio host assaulted a 15-year-old girl 20 years ago, but Rye asserted in an Instagram response that her “BROTHER is neither a molester nor a rapist. He never drugged anyone. Taraji P. Henson’s new film The Best of Enemies has been acquired by STXfilms. Also starring Sam Rockwell, the feature centers on the relationship between Henson’s Ann Atwater, an outspoken Civil Rights activist, and a KKK leader (Rockwell) the desegregation of schools in Durham, North Carolina in 1971. Tami Roman is set to star alongside Octavia Spencer in Reese Witherspoon’s upcoming thriller series, Are You Sleeping?. The reality TV star will play Lillian Scoville, the stepmother of Poppy Parnell, a reporter investigating a cold case murder via her podcast.
