Cardi B didn’t let a little wardrobe snafu ruin her performance at the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival over the weekend.
While performing onstage at the annual Tennessee festival, the rapper told the audience, “I just wanna let y’all know that my outfit rip[ped],” before disappearing and returning in a bathrobe.
“We gonna keep it moving, baby,” she told the crowd. “We gonna keep it sexy. I don’t know how in this [expletive] robe, but we gonna do it.”
Cardi’s performance comes after a series of canceled shows as the rapper needed to take time to recover from liposuction surgery.
She tweeted last week that she was done with plastic surgery due to the complications, which included swelling feet, and would be heading to the gym instead.
“I been working out for the past 2 weeks cause bitch I ain’t getting surgery again, but let me tell you I haven’t got a headache ever since,” the tweet read.
The Grammy-winning rapper also opened up about the negative side effects of not properly recovering from surgery, sharing a photo of her swollen feet on Instagram Stories.
“Look how swollen my feet get every time I take a plane, imagine my body,” she said in a video. “Reasons why doctors told me to chill on shows.”
