Following an hours-long stand-off that resulted in his arrest, Chris Brown has been released from jail on $250,000 bail.
Brown was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after model Baylee Curran alleged that the singer threatened her with a gun. Curran told TMZ that the singer threatened her after she touched a piece of his jewelry that was up for sale. As she left the house a member of Brown’s team tried to get the model to sign a nondisclosure agreement, but she refused.
As police arrived and surrounded Brown’s house, the singer took to social media to declare his innocence, posting three videos to Instagram which have since been deleted.
“I ain’t do sh*t, I ain’t gonna do sh*t. And it is always going to be ‘F*ck the Police,’ Black Lives Matter…And you gotta stop f*cking with me like I am the villain going crazy. I’m not. You guys got me f*cked up though, so good luck.”
