For the second night in a row, protestors in Charlotte, North Carolina took to the streets in the name of justice after Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed by police Tuesday afternoon.
When one Charlotte protestor in particular was rudely asked by Fox News’ Steve Harrigan why she was present for the public outcry, she appropriately set him straight.

The young woman, identified as Allegra Williams, articulated in the video, “I can be at work, at school, in my car — I could still get shot by the police. I can get shot anywhere.”
Williams told Buzzfeed News that she was simply joining the peaceful protest to mourn the death of Scott, who was yet another Black man shot and killed by a police officer.

“It was a peaceful protest,” she said of the Wednesday night event. “Everyone was out there supporting one another, spreading knowledge, spreading love, brainstorming ways to prevent these events that are constantly happening.”
The 20-year-old added, “I was yelling from emotion. I was yelling from pain. I was yelling because I was angry. I’m not angry at white people. That’s where a lot of people get it misconstrued.”
