We need our coffee quick, fast and in a hurry. There’s a lot to talk about this morning.
Bey and Jay are moving to L.A.! Beyoncé and Jay Z are making a big move from New York to Cali for “a change in lifestyle.” The Carters have been living in a Beverly Hills hotel and shopping around for an estate on the west side of L.A. for a new place to call home. They’ve even enrolled little Blue Ivy in a private school (where the tuition bill is over $15,000 a year). [TMZ]
We have three reasons to watch the Grammys this Sunday: Paul, Rihanna and Kanye. Kanye West, Paul McCartney and Rihanna will be performing their just released collaboration, “FourFiveSeconds,” live on stage for the first time. West will also be doing a solo performance of new music at the award show. [Billboard]
In other Yeezy news, Kanye West’s new Adidas kicks will be making their grand debut at New York Fashion Week. A few months ago, West announced a partnership with the sneaker company to design new footwear and it seems like we’ll be getting our first look in a few short days. [Complex]
Also making their way to the stage are Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and Kevin Hart. These four powerhouse acts will be headlining the BET Experience, a weeklong festival that kicks off on June 28. Trey Songz, Outkast and Maxwell will also be performing. [Rap-Up]
Stacey Dash just can’t seem to get it right. During an appearance on Fox News, Dash said that rape survivors are “bad women who like to be naughty, go out and play and get hurt…then blames the alcohol instead of the person who overdrinks.” She has since apologized, saying her comments were a “failed attempt at humor” and that she herself is a victim of sexual abuse. Talk about SMH. [Complex]
