Viewers were really disappointed by Eddie Murphy’s lackluster appearance on SNL 40 Sunday but apparently, things were meant to go differently. Fellow SNL alum Norm Macdonald says Murphy was set to impersonate Bill Cosby for the “Celebrity Jeopardy” segment but Murphy declined.
“Eddie decides the laughs are not worth it. He will not kick a man when he is down,” Macdonald tweeted yesterday. “Eddie Murphy is the coolest, a rockstar even in a room with actual rockstars.” [Huffington Post]

Tyler Perry is closer to God than ever before with his own church in his backyard. Perry had the church built for his son’s christening and it’s made to look exactly like his late mother’s old church.
“I had this church built in my backyard. It’s almost a direct replica of the one my Mother grew up in. It was in her honor. I know she was with us in spirit,” Perry stated on Facebook. Clutch
Sometimes, we find love where we least expect it. Cory Hardrict met wife Tia Mowry when he was going through a serious career struggle.
“I had odd jobs, worked at Kmart, graveyard shift, security. I had a studio apartment sleeping in the corner, no furniture,” Hardrict remembers. “I was waiting at a bus stop, [Tia] and her sister drove by, they saw me waiting and they asked to give me a ride.” And the rest is history.
