Condoleezza Rice has backed out of delivering the commencement address at Rutgers University after protests by faculty and students regarding her role in the Iraq War. Rice declined the invitation saying, “Commencement should be a time of joyous celebration for the graduates and their families. Tyra Banks is said to be furious regarding Victoria’s Secret’s decision to exclude her from the most recent TV fashion special last December. Banks was reportedly told, “the audience likes to see the newest models, not the ‘veterans,’ on the runway during the VS TV show.” Tyra, who modeled for the brand from 1997-2005 was reportedly outraged and has said that she will not work with Victoria’s Secret again.
