• Nick Cannon is the new chairman of the National Kidney Foundation’s Kidney Walk. In his new role, Cannon will help spread the word and prevent others from undergoing the pain he suffered over a year ago. “The kidneys filter out toxins in the blood, acting as the body’s purifier, but unless they stop working, people pay not attention,” said Cannon. “The fact is there are 26 million Americans with kidney disease and most don’t know it. One in three people in this country are at risk because of high blood pressure and diabetes—the two leading causes.” For more information visit www.KidneyWalk.org.
