A biopic of the famed singer Gladys Knight has been talked about for a while now, and Knight finally decided to weigh in. In an interview she posted on Instagram, the “Midnight Train to Georgia” singer revealed that she’d like Kelly Rowland cast to play the starring role. “We don’t know her as an actress but there’s something about her and her spirit that reflects with me,” said Knight. If and when this biopic comes together, we hope they listen to Knight’s advice because that would be one film we wouldn’t want to miss. [NewsOne]
