• After 19 long years in the NBA, Grant Hill, 40, is officially ready to retire. Hill made his announcement just before a recent game. “I’m glad to say I’m done,” said Hill. “I’m officially retired, moving on from playing. I had a great run. I’m announcing it now… I’ve been hinting at it the last few years. You get to a point where you just don’t want to do it anymore but I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve loved it.” Although the NBA star signed a $4 million contract with the Clippers in 2012, he gave several clues throughout the season that this would be his final. [ESPN]
