• Halle Berry will testify in court Tuesday in favor of new legislation preventing paparazzi from taking pictures of kids without consent. The bill up for debate will change the definition of “harass” to include “following the child’s activities or lying in wait.” Photographers convicted of the crime under the proposed law could face 10 days to a year in jail. • Paula Deen is out of another job today. The celebrity chef was relieved of her spokeswoman duties for Smithfield Foods on Monday. The company released a statement condemning “the use of offensive and discriminatory language and behavior of any kind.” The announcement comes days after the Food Network dropped Deen from its roster. • Mariah Carey is delaying the release of her upcoming album. “While making this album, I got so immersed in the creative process that I just don’t feel I would be doing it justice to release it on 7/23,” said Carey on Twitter. “I’d rather not exclude meaningful songs. • Oklahoma star Kevin Durant is the latest athlete to sign up with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Sports. Durant says he’s “grateful for this opportunity with Roc Nation Sports.
