• Jill Marie Jones is heading back to television. She’s the latest recruit to Fox’s new drama Sleepy Hollow. She will play the recurring role of Capt. Irving’s ex-wife. Jones’ upcoming debut episode is expected to air on November 25th. Thus far, the show’s seen a boost in ratings and continues to perform well against other shows in similar time slots. • VH1’s original movie CrazySexyCool was a hit with fans. The biopic about TLC earned 4.5 million viewers, becoming the network’s highest rated show in more than five years. It was also the most watched original cable movie in 2013 thus far. [Deadline]
• Jermaine Jackson could be heading to the slammer. According to TMZ, Jackson has failed to keep up with his child support payment, yet again. This time, he is reportedly behind $12,000 and of that amount, he’s only paid $85. Los Angeles’ Child Support Services Department has asked a judge to hold Jackson in contempt. If the judge sees fit, Jackson could be sent to jail for 20 days. [TMZ]
• Tonight in Boston, Mary J. Blige will sing the National Anthem before the first game of the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Boston Red Sox. This isn’t the first time Blige has lent her voice to a World Series. In 2009, she sang the “The Star-Spangled Banner” before Game 6 in New York. [Grio]
