TIME magazine has rolled out their annual list of the year’s “100 Most Influential People” with Kanye West leading the pack. Despite being named the most influential, West says his life is not about being prideful or competing with his fellow man.
“I’m not in a competition with anyone. I don’t care about having a legacy, I don’t care about being remembered,” West said.

The rumors are true! Nicki Minaj is engaged to rapper Meek Mills! Minaj posted a cryptic Tweet late Wednesday afternoon hinting that she got a diamond from Meek Mills. Hours laters, she posted a pic of her huge 15-karat heart-shaped yellow diamond on Instagram. A source close to Minaj confirmed that couple is indeed tyinh the knot.

Nate Parker has arranged an all-star cast for the Nat Turner biopic he’s directing. Gabrielle Union, Aja Naomi King, Aujanue Ellis and more are slated to star in The Birth of a Nation. Parker, who also wrote the script for the film, will ply the lead role of Nat Turner, the leader of the historic slave revolts in the Old South. The Birth of a Nation is slated to debut in 2016. Rapper The Game is turning to reality TV for help getting back in the game of love. She Got Game will be a weekly hour-long series following the rapper as his celebrity friends set him up on dates with different women over the course of 10 episodes.
