Carey is now working with Kevin Liles on multiple promotions. Although Carey, Liles or Def Jam (Carey’s label) has yet to release a statement about the change, Dupri did comment on the situation. “I’m a very hands-on person when it comes to my work,” said Dupri. “But when I’m not allowed to do what I do, then I know it’s time for me to move on.” Dupri didn’t express any negative feelings toward Carey, and admitted that they “enjoy working together and will continue to make great music together in the future.” [Billboard]
