The First Lady will speak at the memorial of Dr. Maya Angelou this weekend at Wake Forest University. The White House announced Thursday that Mrs. Obama will deliver remarks honoring Angelou at the ceremony. The service is private but Wake Forest will be streaming it online. [TheGrio]

Tupac’s Cousin William Lesane says he’s planning a biopic of his own called The Rise and Fall of Makavelli The Don. Lesane is in the planning stages of bringing the film to life having raised a commitment of $15 million to shoot in Mexico. “The time has come to tell the real Tupac Shakur story…I lived this story with my cousin and paid tremendously for it,” he says.
