• Pharrell has topped himself yet again. Yesterday, the super producer and singer released the world’s first ever 24-hour music video, “Happy.” The single comes from the animated film Despicable Me 2. • Traci Braxton says she’s disappointed her sisters have been discussing her marital troubles on the show without her consent. Braxton told Madame Noir, “I was really hurt to find out they discussed my marital problems on the show without my consent. I could not believe it but then again my sisters are nosy.” When it comes to how she’ll handle things in the future, she’ll be creating boundaries. “Fans should expect to see me standing up for myself this season,” said Braxton. “This time around I am sticking up and making moves for Traci.” [Madame Noir]
• Last week, an anonymous bidder purchased a 1982 Jean-Michel Basquiat painting for $4.5 million. This week, the buyer’s identity was revealed to be Jay Z. It’s not the first time the rapper has been linked to the late artist. It’s unclear how much Basquiat art Jay Z may actually own. Forbes says the rapper references some $493 million worth of high priced goods on his newest album, Magna Carta Holy Grail. [EURweb]
