Amidst all of the divorce drama, Sherri Shepherd’s surrogate gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday. Although Shepherd declined to comment on the birth, her estranged husband, Lamar Sally stated that it was “unclear what’s going on” in regard to the custory of the child. The 12th annual Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Fesival kicks off this week. The festival runs through August 9 and showcases independent films, previews, up-and-coming filmakers and cultural trendsetters. With 49 screenings, the festival will include films such as, A Ballerina’s Tale, the story of Misty Copeland and Dear White People, the Sundance award winner.
