People in Detroit are highly disappointed with comedian Dave Chappelle’s stand-up performance last week. According to audience members, Chappelle took the stage at the Fillmore almost an hour late, told almost no jokes and instead sat on stage smoking and rambling.
Video recorded by an audience member shows someone in the crowd yelling “Let’s hear some of the act!” Chappelle responded: “Well sir, it’s a little late for that. Right now I’ve gotta get off the stage because it’s 2:00 in the morning” although the time was 1:00AM [TMZ]
