• Tamar Braxton announced the arrival of a beautiful baby boy via Twitter Thursday evening. Although no details about the baby were released, including name and weight, she shared a photo of several stuffed animals and balloons. When ESSENCE.com caught up with the youngest Braxton in April, she revealed she and Vincent were behind in getting the nursery together. • On Thursday in Rome, three-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt came in second place in a 100 meter dash. American sprinter Justin Gatlin won the race by milli seconds. That’s the latest development in the ongoing trial between AEG Live and the Jackson estate to determine if the company is responsible for hiring and or supervising Dr. Conrad Murray. According to CNN, Randy Phillips would not advance funds to Jackson because he believed the singer was “in an anticipatory breach” because he missed several rehearsal dates. [CNN]
