• The cast of VH1’s newest reality show, Atlanta Exes—a spin off of Hollywood Exes—has been announced. Tameka Raymond (Usher’s ex-wife), Christina Johnson (Cee-Lo Green’s ex-wife), Monyetta Shaw (Ne-Yo’s ex-fiancée), Sheree Buchanan (ex-wife of Ray Buchanan) and Torrei Hart (Kevin Hart’s ex-wife) have all signed up for the show, which is slated to begin this summer. Meanwhile, the third season of Hollywood Exes will begin on April 30th at 9 p.m. [VH1]
• Yesterday, First Lady Michelle Obama helped raise $700,000 for the Democratic National Committee at a swanky fundraiser. The event, which also featured Barbra Streisand, James Brolin and Tim Robbins was held at Phil Rosenthal and Monica Horan’s Los Angeles home. According to reports, Mrs. Obama spent much of the evening discussing education and her Let’s Move campaign. Last night’s event was the first of a three-day fundraising trip for Mrs. Obama. • Tinie Tempah and Laura Mvula will team up to perform “Heroes” at the 2014 EE British Academy Film Awards on Feb. 16th. “As an internationally renowned British institution, it’s a huge honor to be performing there,” said Tempah. “This song was inspired by film scores and theme songs so I’m looking forward to showcasing what British music has to offer in front of the world’s film industry elite.” [Hollywood Reporter]
• K. Michelle’s Rebellious Soul album will be turned into a musical for VH1. The upcoming project will star Michelle herself and will be directed by Idris Elba. It’s unclear when the show will debut. [YBF]
