- Terrence Howard is being accused of domestic violence by ex-wife Michelle Ghent, reports TMZ. The pair, who faced a messy divorce last May, took a trip to Costa Rica where Ghent says she and the actor got into an argument that quickly became violent. Ghent claims Howard beat her during the argument and that he was abusive to her all throughout their marriage, but Howard says it was Ghent who was the aggressor. According to police reports, Howard stated that they had a “normal married fight” that escalated when Ghent threatened to kill him and his family, then sprayed him, his children and son-in-law with pepper spray. The 44-year-old actor maintains his innocence and says he never assaulted his ex-wife. Ghent will be in court Tuesday morning demanding a restraining order against Howard. During the hearing, Howard plans to show the judge text messages sent by Ghent back in May where she wrote, “I would start hiding if I were you. Be careful when you leave your place” and “you need to be put down once and for all. I will not stop until all knows who you are.” [TMZ]
