• Thandie Newton and her husband, Ol Parker, are expecting their third child early next year. The couple already have two children, Nico, 8, and Ripley, 13. The actress announced the news on the red carport of her latest film, Half of a Yellow Sun at the Toronto Film Festival. A source told Us Weekly, “She couldn’t be more happy. • Tami Roman will replace Tamar Braxton on BET’s late-night talk show Tiny Tonight. Roman tweeted her excitement to join the cast, “Joining the girls of Tiny Tonight, can’t wait 2work w/ @TinyMajorMama, @TrinaRocStarr, @ClaudiaJordan. Thank U.” Braxton told the Breakfast Club recently that she wasn’t scheduled to do more than two shows. Her latest album, Love & War, was released last week. [EURweb]
• After a year without employment, former Florida Dolphin’s receiver Chad Johnson landed another job. He will be analyzing fantasy football for CBS Sports, reports TMZ. Johnson made headlines last year when he headbutt his ex-wife Evelyn Lozada. [TMZ]
• Beyoncé says she’s very proud to introduce her daughter, Blue Ivy, to new cultures while traveling the world. The pop star ended her Spain vacation to perform in Brazil this weekend and she told reporters, “It’s really interesting because I’m touring with my daughter for the first time. My dream has always been to balance my life and career. I think it’s the one thing that women struggle with because it’s so difficult having a career and being a mother. But when I’m able to travel to places like Brazil, it makes me so proud she’s able to experience these different cultures and meet all these interesting people and eat amazing food at such a young age.
