See what we’re chatting about over coffee:
• A New York judge dismissed three child sex abuse cases against famed puppeteer Kevin Clash. The judge ruled that the cases were not within the statue of limitations. All of the alleged victims filed their claims past the six-year mark from which the crime allegedly occurred. “Kevin is pleased by the judge’s decision,” said Clash’s attorney Michael G. Berger. “As we have maintained all along, our goal has been to put these spurious claims behind him, so that Kevin can go about the business of re-claiming his personal and his professional standing…” There is one court case still pending against Clash and another case was dropped in April.
