• After much back and forth, and even a vow renewal ceremony, Trina Braxton and Gabriel Adrian-Solis have called it quits. The couple married in 2003, but had no children together. However, Solis acted as a father figure to Trina’s two boys. According to reports, they have been living apart since March of this year. Braxton says she hopes to divide up their assets and debts quietly. [TMZ]
• Bruno Mars’ mother suddenly died of a brain aneurysm on Saturday. Bernadette Hernadez was 55 years old. Hernandez was a hula dancer and singer originally from the Philippines. She later immigrated to Hawaii and had four children, all of which are musically inclined. Funeral services have not been announced. [RollingStone]
• Lauryn Hill has agreed to leave her New Jersey mansion after being sued for not paying rent, reports TMZ. The singer and her landlord reached a settlement which states she must vacate by May 31st and pay $7,000 in back rent. It’s unclear if she kept her part of the deal. Hill must report to jail by July 8 to begin serving her three-month tax evasion sentence. [TMZ]
• Shemar Moore had a run in with the law over the weekend. Police were called to the actor’s home because a woman accused him of assaulting her. Moore claims he was assaulted as well. Both parties want the other arrested and charged. However, no one was arrested and an investigation is underway. [Perez Hilton]
