- Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka Foster, filed legal documents Tuesday to gain emergency custody of their two children after the singer’s son almost drown in a swimming pool accident. A hearing is set to take place later this week as Foster fights to take custody from Usher, believing that the environment their children live in is a dangerous one. Foster claims that Usher is being an irresponsible parent by allowing others to care for their two children. She is especially not too fond of Usher’s aunt, who had been caring for 5-year-old Usher Raymond V when he almost drown after his arm got trapped in a pool drain Monday. In the past, Foster claimed that Usher’s aunt allowed a stranger into the singer’s residence where the children stayed and also complained about her aggressive discipline methods. Usher currently has primary custody of the children, while Foster only has limited custodial rights. She hopes to change that. [TMZ]
