• Is Christina Milian planning to join the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars? According to TMZ, she’s among the latest celebrities tapped for the popular show. Milian along with Amber Riley, Snooki, Elizabeth Berkley and the terminally ill Valerie Harper are all reportedly scheduled to join the cast. Milian made headlines a few weeks ago when she announced she would not be returning to NBC’s The Voice as their social media correspondent. [TMZ]
• First Lady Michelle Obama has yet another hairstyle. Months ago, Mrs. Obama had the world talking about her sexy bangs, now she’s swept them to the side and added highlights! • Jennifer Hudson says she’s cooking up new music to release at the top of 2014. Hudson covers the September issue of Angeleno and tells the magazine her studio sessions with Pharrell Williams and Timbaland are going great. “What we’re doing feels so right that I never want go home (from the studio). My sister and my manager will be sleeping on the couch while we work until four or five a.m.,” said Hudson. “This record is not about me playing a part or me as a spokesperson. • Today, digital channel Alright TV will begin broadcasting episodes from Issa Rae’s new dramedy, The Choir. “I’m excited to join the Alright TV family and to share my new show, The Choir,” said Rae. “Tracey [Edmonds] is such an inspiration as a producer and executive and she and her team have been very supportive as we work to develop the series. It has been a joy to work with her, and I’m so excited to bring my vision and voice to the Alright TV audience.”
